Thank you for your interest in interning with ICE FACTORY 2020!

ICE FACTORY is New Ohio Theatre's Obie Award-winning summer festival of new work. We present work by emerging and established theatre companies, as well as exceptional national and international groups. We pride ourselves on the aesthetic diversity of the work presented, while maintaining our standard of intelligent, imaginative theater. Internships receive travel stipends and are available for school credit.

ICE FACTORY internships offer young theatre artists the opportunity to work with seven theatre companies, on seven new shows, in eight weeks. Ice Factory 2020 is our 27th anniversary season.

ICE FACTORY interns will work mainly in areas of technical and running crew, with responsibilities including hanging lights, running light and sound boards, wardrobe, simple set construction, and as backstage crew. Other responsibilities will include front-of-house and concessions. Applicants with website, graphic design, and/or social media skills a plus.
